Five Healthcare Organizations Honored as “Shining Stars” by The Beryl Institute

(DALLAS, TX) — The Beryl Institute recognized five hospitals and health systems with Shining Star Awards during its recent annual conference. Each of these organizations made significant contributions that ultimately make a positive impact on the customer experience.

  • Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, TX, received the Shining Star Partnership Award for facilitating collaboration between its vendors.
  • Meridian Health System in Neptune, NJ, received the Shining Star Innovation Award for its forward-thinking innovations in technology, customer relationship management, consumer focus and creative execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Alegent Health in Omaha, NE, received the Shining Star Event/Service Line Marketing Award, which recognizes effectiveness in preparing for and marketing events and hospital service lines. “At Alegent Health we work very hard to use the information we have about our consumers so that our events and services fit with their needs and lifestyles,” said Amy Protexter, senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Alegent Health.
  • OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, received the Shining Star Brand Marketing Award for effectively integrating the call center into its marketing campaigns.
  • Mount Sinai Queens in Long Island City, NY, received the Shining Star Customer Experience Award for excellence in customer service across multiple touch points throughout the organization.
