Bridget Duffy, M.D., Former Chief Experience Officer, Cleveland Clinic

As Chief Experience Officer at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Duffy advances the "Patient First Initiative" by creating a culture that addresses the emotional and physical experience for the patient, restores empathy as a core value, and recognizes and rewards employees for delivering an excellent patient experience. Prior to this role, she served as Medical Director of St. Jude Medtronic, where she led the development and implementation of patient-centered disease initiatives, physician education, and leadership programs. Dr. Duffy also volunteers for several healthcare initiatives. She has collaborated with Children’s Heartlink and other non-profit organizations to develop the healthcare infrastructure in India to better serve the health needs of the poor. Her work includes the development of hospitals, clinics, personnel, and strategic alliances within the industry.
