Diane Appleyard is president and CEO of Healthcare Institute, Inc. and president of Core Consulting. Healthcare Institute is a think tank of leading healthcare system executives. Core Consulting is a small healthcare company that helps organizations with strategic planning, provider relationship development, and education. A strong believer in community service, she has served on numerous boards and councils. Ms. Appleyard was named to Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Powerful list in 2002 (#20) and 2003 (#28). She was named a woman of distinction by Northwest Florida Area Girl Scouts in 2000 and was named a Pensacola Junior College Foundation Follow in 2002. She received the Pensacola News Journal’s Businesswoman of the Year designation in 2006.
