Ernst & Young LLP announced Paul Spiegelman as regional Entrepreneur of the Year for the category, “Spirit of Entrepreneurship” at a ceremony June 19 in Dallas.   “I am honored to receive this recognition and see it as a reflection of the power of the Circle of Growth philosophy that is central to Beryl’s culture. ” said Spiegelman. “Our success is rooted in the belief that when we invest in establishing and maintaining a culture focused on employees, they will take care of our customers and, in turn, our business thrives.”  

 

The program recognizes workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services. Employees gave high scores on questions regarding leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits, and overall satisfaction. Beryl is proud to have earned a place in the top 100 for two consecutive years.

This survey is an important source of information on companies who outsource within the healthcare industry. Beryl is proud to be the only patient contact center on the list and continues to expand its product line for hospitals. Our newest offerings include post-visit customer service calls, appointment reminders and scheduling.

The Inc. 5000 includes the Inc. 500, but digs deeper to offer the most comprehensive look ever at the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy. This designation is the result of a study conducted by more than 70 researchers, reporters, editors and interns evaluating the top performers out of the seven million companies in the U.S. that have employees.

Ernst & Young recognized Paul Spiegelman as a finalist for the Health Services category at the 23rd Annual Southwest Area Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. This is Spiegelman's second year to be honored as a finalist in the Health Services category. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs and celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses.

This award is given to local companies that lead by example and show the importance of giving back to their communities while running successful businesses.

The recognition, known as "Tech Titans", has become the area's most prestigious award for excellence in technology. A Tech Titan for three consecutive years, Beryl was selected based on its technological advancements over the past five years. MTBC, the largest technology trade association in Texas, is dedicated to making north Texas a global center of high-tech excellence.

To determine which companies are among Dallas' Best, the publication collects nominations submitted by employees and then conducts an extensive evaluation of each company's inner workings, culture, employee benefits and workplace environment.
