Inc. 5000 Honors Beryl 5 Years in a Row

Inc. magazine has announced the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for 2011, and has included The Beryl Companies for the fifth consecutive year.

With more than 25 years’ experience, Beryl is the nation's leading provider of marketing and communications solutions that enhance the patient experience. The company attributes this growth to increased relevance in the rapidly changing health care environment and its unique culture resulting in satisfied and engaged employees who provide excellent customer service.

As hospital reimbursement becomes tied to patient satisfaction, hospitals are increasing their focus on the patient experience.  Beryl’s specially-trained patient experience advocates act as an extension of the hospital and consistently deliver a seamless, compassionate interaction for patients with their local health system.

“Beryl’s services reach patients before and after a hospital visit, creating a positive first and last impression,” said Lance Shipp, chief operating officer. “Those positive impressions lead to better brand awareness and increase successful hospital-patient interaction for our clients that leads to both patient acquisition and patient loyalty.”

“We’re honored to be included on the Inc. 5000 list, and it’s the people at Beryl that made this possible,” said Paul Spiegelman, CEO of The Beryl Companies. “We pride ourselves on the Circle of Growth™ philosophy, which states that when you invest in your employees, they will take care of the customers, and the organization will thrive.”

The Beryl Institute serves as the professional home for stakeholders who recognize that the patient experience is an essential element in the execution and evaluation of health care performance. Founded in 2009, The Circle is a training company that helps other businesses enhance employee engagement and develop more positive workplace cultures. The last firm, The Small Giants Community, is a global organization that brings together leaders who are focused on values-based business principles.
